Me Amanda
“Kooky Glass” and “Resinate” Artworks - Amanda Conway
I moved to Perth in 2006 with husband Shannon and was bitten by the glass art bug after taking part in a 1 day workshop to try something new. As wall and floor space in my home disappeared, and my pendant collection became huge, I began to sell pieces to allow me to continue what had become more than just a hobby.
Then resin came to my attention as a new art medium and for quite a while I managed to resist the urge to try it. However, my resolve gave way and now I am as obsessed and fascinated with it as I am with glass.
Whether glass or resin I design and create the pieces with my ideas most often influenced by the ocean, landscape and trees of Australia.
Using a variety of both glass and resin techniques I create unique jewellery, homewares and artworks, both as small limited ranges or made to the clients specific requirements.

The other great loves in my life are husband Shannon, oriental Cats Smooki and Tokki, , camping in the Nullarbor, stormy weather, gin, jeans and Mother Nature.
