The boards that I decorate are 100% designed and made in Australia from a solid slab, without joins, using salvaged Camphor Laurel logs instead of native trees.
Camphor Laurels are generally recognised as an alien species in Australia and there are control programs that advocate their removal and replacement with native trees. Instead of letting the logs of this ethnically accepted timber be dumped, chipped or burnt they are formed into beautiful cutting, serving and cheese boards.
Camphor Laurel has natural antibacterial properties and is tightly grained with small pores and natural oils that allow it to repel moisture, warping and microbes.
All pieces within the Resinate range are unique and certain items will only be available for a limited period.
